Day 78: Koh Lanta Old Town
Claire: We switched hotels today and moved a little further down the island to Kantang beach. Our little bungalow has beautiful views and on check in we were warned not to leave the balcony door open and unattended, because of monkeys!!!!
The beach here is a beautiful little cove and we had lunch at the highly recommended Same Same which was delicious. We can’t get over how green and luscious it is on this island, it’s so beautiful and quiet so we’ve rented a scooter for a couple of days to explore. This eve we headed across to the east side of the island for dinner in the old town which was really quaint with traditional Thai wooden houses. Although I can’t share any photos because my camera memory card broke and didn’t save any of them. Gutted.
