Day 91: Koh Samui life
Claire: Extending our stay in Koh Samui an extra night we had to move hotels to a little bungalow in Fishermans Village. Despite being centrally located the gardens are a little secret oasis and we have a lovely terrace with comfy cushions and water feature. I'm getting lots of garden inspiration from these tropical places, although I'm not sure it'd translate that well in East London. We'll see.
We had another lazy day today making the most of the beaches. Fruit shakes at our favourite beach bar Coco Tams and then some beers and nuts in an Irish Bar. Yes I can't believe we went to an Irish bar either. Twas good views though.
We had a delicious dinner on the seafront at Nirvana where we spent some time reviewing Koh Samui and giving it a Claire&Gav score rating. We like doing that. I also got a decent glass of wine which is a rarity for Asia... but something to look forward to going home for anyway.
Our favourite thing about Samui has been getting the bikes and getting lost in the mountains. Riding through local fishing villages and strolling deserted beaches. I don't think the waters here are as amazing as the Andaman Sea and it does feel a lot more Westernised on Samui than the other islands but we've really enjoyed our stay. We look forward to seeing what Koh Tao has in store for us tomorrow!

- If you've got a kindle, I strongly advice you don't sit on it. There's a good chance it'll be an usable piece of crap thereafter if you do.
