Day 22: Vang Vieng
Claire: It seems we have an alarm on most days this trip and it's becoming normal to awake in darkness. Not sure how I feel about this!!!
Today we moved south to our next town, Vang Vieng. It was about a 3 hour bus journey/rollercoaster on a dirt track of a road with more than a few bits missing on mountain edges, and with a driver dosed up on M-150.
But we arrive to our cute little cabin recommended by our friends Ryan & Lisa and all is well in the world. Surrounded by trees, animals and limestone mountains — the scenery around us is pretty special.
Out little cabin is about 2km outside the town so it's very peaceful. We're certainly at one with nature here...
