Hello!

This is our little diary of a our 99 days travelling South East Asia.

Day 24: New Vang Vieng dwellings

Day 24: New Vang Vieng dwellings

Claire: Today we move to our new dwellings, just a few hundred metres down the road (as the first one had only limited availability!). We really love it here though, it's run by a Laos husband & wife who’d lived in Berlin for 13 years, so lots of welcomed European touches!. There's 6 cabins on beautifully maintained grounds with the limestone mountains as a backdrop.

There's really not much else to report today. We ate yummy food, sunbathed, read some books and planned some more of our trip!

Gav's day 24 takeaway:

Planning and booking transport and hotel constantly is kinda fun but also pretty relentless (for Claire). So it's easy to forget to apply for the Vietnamese visa we need. We missed the deadline to apply through the official government site, so we're taking our chances with a 'rush' application through one of the million private businesses. Fingers crossed.
