Hello!

This is our little diary of a our 99 days travelling South East Asia.

Day 96: Koh Tao > Bangkok

Day 96: Koh Tao > Bangkok

5:15am alarm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Claire: I won’t bore you with the journey specifics this time. But we took taxi, ferry, coach, plane, taxi and finally arrived at our Bangkok at 19:20. LONG DAY.

Dare I say it, but there's something quite nice about being back in the city. We didn't get on too well with Bangkok the first time round, but this time we're staying south of the city and just a few moments from the BTS skytrain too so we're well connected.

For anybody who knows Gav well, knows he gets very hangry when he's not eaten for a few hours. Determined not to be beaten by this city once again, I'd done a bit of research on neighbourhoods and we jumped on the skytrain 3 stops to the Silom district. We had dinner at Ban Chiang, a delightful, albeit well hidden, wooden house and courtyard with great food and ambience. Claire 1 Bangkok 0.
